Todd: I had issues with hard lenses too. They got pretty dry and always made my eyes feel tired. About a year ago I switched to the soft dailies. They cost a lot more, but are totally worth it.

I had eye troubles from my contacts up until a few months ago. Apparently "hard" lenses cause bacteria to get in my right eye and I 5 ulcers for like 2 months. Finally gone and have "soft" lenses. Hope your eye is doing better sir, been a good read so far!
